Change to fallback notifications

gvmax
Administrator
If you use GTalk notifications, you may not have been aware that GVMax will attempt to fallback to other type of notifications if it fails to send the GTalk notification (usually because the user is not logged into GTalk).

I have made a slight change to this.

GVMax will only fallback to email a limited number of times currently 10 times. After that it will not fallback anymore until it is once again able to send a GTalk notification.

Prowl and Howl fall backs don't have this restriction.

This is a nice feature, but it's just that: a feature. I personally don't want this service.

Please make it optional.

It is optional.

If you don't want it to fallback to prowl, howl or email

Log into GVMax and make sure the values for prowl api key, howl credentials and email are empty.
